先日聖書を読んでいて、ノアの箱舟のところになりました。
ケイシーもこの洪水は実際にあったと言っていたそう。
アブラハムとロトのところだと、ソドムとゴモラが硫黄の火で
滅ぼされたりしています。
この二つの箇所を読んでつくづく思ったは、
神はまるで自由に夢をコントロールするように
一瞬で私を滅ぼすことが可能なのだな、ということでした。
それでも私に今日も日の光を与えてくださるのだ、という感じです。
ときどき、自分はそれに値するのだろうか？と自問します。
for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good,
and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do
more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven
is perfect.
